How to Permanently Change Opening Hours

Update the salon’s standard weekly opening and closing hours. These hours remain in place until they are changed again.

How to change the permanent opening hours

Follow these steps to update the salon’s standard weekly schedule.

1Open the diaryOpen the Salon Manager appointment diary.
2Open Diary SettingsSelect the settings cog on the left-hand side of the diary.
3Open Opening HoursThe settings area opens on the Opening Hours section by default.
4Choose the open daysUse the switches on the left to choose which days the salon is normally open.
5Set the opening timesFor each open day, choose the salon’s normal opening time in the Opening at column.
6Set the closing timesChoose the salon’s normal closing time in the Closing at column.
7Review the weekly hoursCheck every day carefully before saving the changes.
8Confirm the changesSelect Confirm at the bottom right to save the new permanent opening hours.

Use this setting for the normal weekly schedule

These settings are for the salon’s usual weekly opening hours, not a one-off date.
Turn off any day when the salon is normally closed rather than entering matching opening and closing times.
Review all seven days before confirming because the saved schedule controls the normal diary availability.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and what to check

I cannot find Opening Hours

Open the appointment diary and select the settings cog on the left. The settings area should open on the Opening Hours section.

A day is showing as closed

Check that the switch beside that day is enabled, then enter the opening and closing times.

The new hours have not saved

Review the times and make sure you selected Confirm at the bottom right before leaving the page.
